3 each Mission 4.5" Heat Pressed Flour Tortillas (28671)
2 Tbsp. Filipino adobo marinade/sauce, prepared
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp. Lime Juice
1/2 tsp. Granulated garlic
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 cup Red Onion , diced
2 Tbsp. Garlic , minced
1 lb. Longganisa pork sausage, crumbled
1/2 cup Filipino Adobo marinade/sauce, prepared
1/2 cup Cucumber , seedless, small diced
1/4 cup Pickled red onions
As needed Cilantro leaves
As needed Lime wedges
As needed Sesame Seeds
1.) Filipino Adobo Aioli – Add ingredients together and stir to combine. Reserve under refrigeration until use, for up to 5 days.
2.) Adobo Longganisa – Heat oil in sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté until translucent.
3.) Add garlic and cook about 30 seconds until fragrant and then add diced sausage and brown. Add adobo sauce and cook another 5 minutes until sauce and thickens into a glaze.
4.) To build 1 taco; top 1 tortilla with ¼ cup Adobo Longganisa, 1 tbsp. Filipino Adobo Aioli, 1 tbsp. diced cucumbers, a pinch of pickled red onions, and cilantro. Garnish with sesame seeds.
5.) Serve 3 tacos per order and serve with lime wedges on the side.
