Dessert Taco Board

A delightful dessert board showcasing crispy Fry-Ready tortillas, cut and transformed into mini taco cups, lightly fried and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Paired with an array of indulgent treats, including banana bites, chile-lime dusted mango pieces, and chocolate-dipped oranges. Guests can personalize their sweet creations with a selection of dessert sauces such as salted chocolate sauce, caramel, and hot honey, along with whipped cream, candied pecans, fresh berries, and colorful sprinkles for a festive touch.

Ingredients

  • 1 each Mission 12” Fry-Ready Tortillas (37184), Warmed
  • 1 cup Cinnamon sugar
  • As needed Whipped cream
  • As needed Caramel sauce
  • As needed Hot honey
  • As needed Salted chocolate sauce
  • As needed Chili-lime dusted mango bites
  • As needed Chocolate dipped orange segments
  • As needed Chocolate dipped banana pieces
  • As needed Stemmed cherries
  • As needed Candied pecans
  • As needed Mixed berries

Directions

  1. Preheat deep fryer to 350°F.  
  2. Using a 4” scalloped round cutter, cut 6 taco shells out of the tortilla.  
  3. Place in taco shell mold and deep fry for about 30 seconds each. As tortillas come out of the fryer season with the cinnamon sugar to lightly coat.  
  4. Place mini dessert taco shells on a large platter and serve with the remaining ingredients for a build your own dessert taco board!
